This is it folks!

My jaw dropped to what this man just said.  Is this for real?  Shall we start growing our own vegetables on our backyards now? What do you think?

Is Facebook going to charge us now?

Really, is Facebook going to charge us now?  No way, I will never ever fall into this trap.  First, facebook made billions without charging their services. How?  They generate their high revenue through adverts from users such as doctors, lawyers, restaurants etc.   In addition to this, the substantial part of their revenue comes from substantial ADS products, that is, the solutions for large brand advertisers. These ADS products are placed on the right hand side of the site's homepage, so that if the users log in, they can interact with the advertisements. There is also the lucrative deal  with Microsoft which could be estimated and believed to about more than $100  million a year. I do not know and have no knowledge of the terms of their agreement. I'm just showing you how Facebook is making millions here through adverts from blue chips companies like Microsoft.  These are  not the complete list on how facebook makes money from the users, mainly the advertisers, but at least you see how those large chunk of  money  is coming from.

The above are some of the Facebook revenue streams, and advertisement is the main source of their revenue channel.  Now tell me, Do you think Mark Zuckerberg still needs your money?  He doesn't!  Those rumours are flat out lies!

But if the world turns upside down and we'll get charge for using Facebook, I and most of my friends vowed to move to Google. And while I am against it, I also see some benefits of the membership fee.  I strongly doubt that those millions of users are legitimate accounts, I believe that most of the members have at least more than one account.

If ever the new rule gets implemented, that would mean they can monitor and terminate all those bogus accounts that are ubiquitous on Facebook nowadays.  It's appalling to see  how people can get easily harassed online by these bogus accounts because one could easily fill in their false identify.  It's insane!

On the other hand, if they charge Facebook users, many members will leave and no one will click those ads on their site anymore.

There you go folks, I hope I was able to convince you today.  Facebook is free now and will be free for the years to come. Enjoy Facebooking Guys!  Ciao!

WORDS OF WISDOM!

GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE!

It's the weekend again! Time flies.

It's Saturday and it's sizzling hot outside!  It's 32 degrees Celsius here in the tropics. Can you imagine having this temperature everyday? It's hot and humid  over here  all year round; and  take note, there is no seasonal variations.  In the day, you can expect to start sweating after a few minutes of walking. Fortunately, you can easily find refuge in the many air-conditioned buildings nearby. It  can rain at any time of the year, so if you expect to be outside for a long time, prepare your umbrella.   If you live in Europe or the U.S., you'd be happy when the sun finally comes out.   The sun gives you energy and strength  or keep you warm and happy.  There is something about the sun and sunny days.

Oh well, there is a lot to do when it's shining, you can go to the park or to the botanic garden and capture some nice photographs of flowers, go to the pool and read your favorite novel while sunbathing - but don't forget your sunblock and your big sunglasses. Or you can go ride a bike at the park.  I do all of the above.

Wait a minute, what did I do today? I can't remember! LOL!

FRESH AIR, FRESH MIND! GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

Oh my goodness!  Is there another global recession coming again?  That's the impression you get when you listen and watch the news lately.  The Greek debt crisis, European stock market and Dow Jones falling, the UBS  $2 Billion loss  stemming from unauthorised trading by a rouge trader and so on. Analysts say, investors are pulling out their funds in equities  due to economic uncertainties.  The news coming out are not good at all.   Oh well, it's time to put off buying anything and tighten up those belts.

I have a list of lenses I hope to buy  once I have saved enough. This is the link.  http://www.nikonusa.com/Nikon-Products/Camera-%20Lenses/index.page. There are fabulous buys here!  Check it out. Someday, I'd like to have a room full of Nikkor lenses and some of the full frame cameras.  Someday. :)  But for now, I just like to share with you one of my favorite Sunflower shots I have taken  a year ago at summertime in Switzerland.  This is a saturated image to pop out the colours and nothing more. Hope you have a great day!

Hello World by Saisuree Jay

So what colour of roses do you prefer?  I love all kinds but my favorite
is  red.  It's suppose to symbolise love and admiration,  that's all I know.
The last time I received a bouquet of roses was 2 years ago. See how time  flies.
And yes, they were red!

So, I was told that the blurred background in this photo  is called bokeh, which simply means the quality of the cool background blurry effect with a shallow depth of field.

The bokeh in the picture below is gorgeous, as you can see, the green background of the flower have an abstract uniformity.

Here's link about bokeh for you to understand the fuzzy concept better:
